NXplorers Online Platform is aimed at processing personal data of teachers and students of participating schools. Each participating school shall create online accounts and profiles for its users and students. Parents of guardians of students shall be informed by the participating schools about the use of the NXplorers Platform and shall provide their consent to the participating schools.
We collect information about you as a user and/or visitor to a NXplorers Online Platform. Most of this information is personal data - information that can be used to identify an individual. This information may be either:

respond to queries or requests submitted by you;
moderate the use and engagement with the NXplorers Online Platform
process registrations, competition entries and requests for newsletters and other communications
administer or otherwise carry out our obligations in relation to the participation of your school in the NXplorers Online Platform, in particular with respect to its technical and functional engagement;
where applicable assess the entries submitted as part of contests or competitions organized through the NXplorers Online Platform or the votes/opinions or assessments submitted as a part of such contests or competitions;
statistical analysis to evaluate the functionalities of the NXplorers Online Platform
You can always access, amend, update or delete your personal information. Please go to your NXplorers Online Platform account profile to make such update or contact us at [email protected]. If your data has been provided to the NXplorers Online Platform through the participating school, you may also contact your participating school focal point that has created the account of the participating school.
You have the right to obtain access to your personal data. We will also provide you with the information about the purposes of processing, what kind of information we do process for such purposes, the categories of recipients to whom we have disclosed your personal data and the criteria used for determining the period for which your personal data will be held by us.
You are also entitled to request us to erase your personal or restrict its processing and we will comply with such request without undue delay, unless we have to keep your personal data to comply with a legal obligation. In such case, we will discontinue your use of the NXplorers Online Platform – this remains without prejudice to the account created for your participating school.

We have implemented technology and policies with the objective of protecting your privacy from unauthorised access and improper use. In particular, we may use encryption for some of our services, we apply authentication and verification process for access to NXplorers Online Platform and we regularly test, assess and evaluate the effectiveness of our security measures.
NXplorers Online Platform may disclose your personal data to any of the following:
Authorised third party companies involved in the operation of the NXplorers Online Platform, for example Shaping Learning, or authorized third party companies involved in the organization of events or projects for the NXplorers Online Platform;
Authorised governmental entities, supervisory agencies, fiscal entities pursuant to a legal process or enforceable governmental request;
Any person to whom Shell proposes to transfer any of its rights and/or duties.
NXplorers Online Platform also uses third parties for certain processing operations, such as website hosting. The collected personal data may be transferred to authorized third parties, which may be located outside of the Economic European Area (EEA) as part of the services offered to you. By way of example, this may happen if any of our servers are from time to time located in a country outside of the EEA or one of our service providers is located in a country outside of the EEA. As far as these third parties have access to personal data in order to execute these processings, the required organizational and/or contractual measures have been taken to ensure that your personal data is exclusively processed for the purposes mentioned above and that adequate levels of protection have been implemented in order to safeguard your personal data.

The personal data you have provided as a part of the process of creation of your account profile, is a requirement to use the NXplorers Online Platform as this is a Platform that is addressed to restricted authorised users from participating schools.
